Q:  How many floor plans do I have to choose from?
A:  There are 5 floor plans being built by Kingport's exclusive builder, Braswell Homes, Inc.  Visit our floor plans page for more information.

Q:  How many lots are there in the subdivision?
A:  28.  Click here to view a map of the subdivision.

Q:  What is the price for a lot?
A:  $69,000.

Q:  Is there a time limit for me to build on my lot?
A:  No.

Q:  What is the build out period per home?
A:  4-6 months

Q:  If I buy my own lot, can I use my own builder?
A:  Yes.

Q:  Are there regulations to follow for custom building?
A:  Floor plans need to be approved by developer before building.  Refer to Kingsport's covenants and restrictions for basic subdivision regulations.

Q:  What is the minimum square footage for a custom built home?
A:  1,500 sq.ft. as outlined in the covenants and restrictions.

Q:  Are there incentives to buy?
A:  $3,000 toward closing costs with approved lender, Kendee Blake, and approved attorney, Ladd Gasparovic.

Q:  Is there a model home?
A:  A model home will be coming soon.  Estimated date is Summer of 2008.  

Q:  When are open houses?
A:  A few weekends of every month a Realtor will be at the subdivision to tour the floor plans.  A schedule for Summer of 2008 will be available soon. 

Q:  Who are the Cable and Electric providers?
A:  Charter and Progress Energy

Q:  What type of water/sewer is available?
A:  Well and septic.

Q:  Are there nearby city amenities such as schools, parks, beaches, country clubs, etc?
A:  Yes, and information about those and more may be found on our About Hampstead page.

Q:  Can I put a fence in my yard?
A:  Yes.  The fence must be approved by the developer before it is installed.  Refer to Kingsport's covenants and restrictions for basic subdivision regulations.

Q:  Can I hydro seed my lawn?
A:  No.

Q:  What are the HOA fees?
A:  $180/year.

Q:  What do the HOA fees cover?
A:  Roads, common areas, and management fee.

Q:  Who is the HOA president/contact?
A:  The HOA is still being formed.  Contact information will be available soon.
